Sneaker Cleaners started in a Chicago basement with a simple problem: I wanted to clean up my first pair of Jordans in high school, but there wasn't a real solution for taking care of sneakers the way they deserved. What started as figuring it out for myself turned into a passion for sneaker restoration.

In 2013, I began my restoration journey while working at a shoe repair shop on Chicago's North Side. That experience taught me that sneakers aren't just shoes — they're made from different materials that require different techniques, and the wrong process can permanently damage a pair.

In 2018, I opened Sneaker Cleaners in Chicago with the goal of creating a better way to clean and restore sneakers. What started in a basement became a dedicated sneaker-care business built around craftsmanship, proper techniques, and treating every pair based on what it actually needs.

Today, every pair that comes through Sneaker Cleaners is handled with care by a trained technician. We inspect each pair, document its condition, clean according to the materials and condition of the sneaker, and perform a quality check before it's returned.

We built Sneaker Cleaners because we believe your sneakers shouldn't have to be replaced just because they're dirty, worn, or in need of restoration.
